3. To turn off the heater, press both rocker switches down to the off
position. (Figure 5)
CAUTION: Portable electric heaters are designed for spot heating
or as a supplementary heat source only. They are not intended to
be a primary source of heat.
CAUTION: Avoid the use of an extension cord. Extension cords
may overheat and cause a risk of re. If you must use an extension
cord, the cord must be No. 14 AWG minimum size and rated no
less than 1875 Watts.
Cleaning and Storage
1. Turn the unit OFF and unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Use only a soft cloth to clean the exterior an of compressed air or a
vacuum. A mild cleaner can be used to clean the interior of the
heater.
3. Do not immerse the unit in water and never allow water to drip into
the element hosing.
WARNING: Do not allow water to run into the interior or the heater
as this could create a re or electric shock hazard.
Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the
heater. Store the heater in its original box and store in a cool, dry
place.
NOTE: If you experience any problem, please return the unit to the
place of the original purchase or see your warranty.
Do not attempt to open the element housing. Doing so may void
your warranty and cause damage to the heater or personal injury.

Products to which this limited warranty applies
This limited warranty applies to the following model of your newly purchased Dimplex
electric umbrella heater model number PUH1500. This limited warranty applies only
to purchases made in any province of Canada except for Yukon Territory, Nunavut, or
Northwest Territories or in any of the 50 States of the USA (and the District of Columbia)
except for Hawaii and Alaska. This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser of
the product only and is not transferable.
